Despite the fact that Derek Carr will not be participating in the New Orleans Saints game this coming Sunday, he is doing everything in his power to assist backup quarterback Jake Haener, both on and off the field.

Haener was given ten suite tickets by Carr, who is now out with a hand injury, so that his family may see him make his first start in the National Football League.Carr has always been recognized for being a buddy and teammate who exemplifies class, and this gesture is completely in line with that reputation. For Haener, the game that will take place on Sunday against the Washington Commanders will be a momentous occasion, and it will be of great significance to him to have his loved ones who are dear to him present.

The Fresno State product Haener, who was selected in the fifth round of the second year of the season, has already participated in seven games and thrown passes in four of those games. During his time in the National Football League, he had a total of 177 yards and a touchdown after completing 14 of 29 passes.

Haener is taking a confident approach into Sunday’s matchup by claiming that he will “let it rip” with the possibility of upsetting the Commanders, who are hoping to make the playoffs. This is despite the fact that Haener is inexperienced. Under the leadership of interim head coach Darren Rizzi, the Saints have won three of their most recent four games, and they now have a record of 5-8 for the season.

If Haener is able to find the drive he needs to follow through with his bold announcement, it is possible that having some additional family members present in the building to support him will assist him.
