“I have always like playing three out of five because it is more of an equalizer if you are a slow starter and more of a genuine barometer on the other hand. I believe that the women are undoubtedly fit enough to compete in best-of-five sets, and I believe that there would be a lot of excitement in the semifinals and final of Grand Slam tournaments if they did so,” Monica Seles stated.

“It was my first night match, and she was already a star,” Seles said. “It was a night match.” My feelings for her were nothing short of awestruck. Nevertheless, she was such a woman both on and off the court, regardless of whether you were victorious or defeated by her.


A human being was the first thing that sprang to her mind, not a monetary number. “That demonstrates a tremendous amount of character,” Seles described the situation.
