WATCH: Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp storms out of interview following dramatic FA Cup quarterfinal defeat vs. Man Utd

In a heated post-match interview with Viaplay Sports, the irate German manager argued with the reporter before yelling at her in response to one of her questions.
On Sunday, Liverpool’s quadruple hopes were dashed as the Merseyside giant lost the FA Cup on the road to fierce rivals Manchester United.

In the quarterfinal match between these two English heavyweights, at Old Trafford, Salaha and company rallied from a goal down to lead 2-1 at the break. However, they wasted multiple chances to seal the victory, giving up an equalizer in the 87th minute, and allowing two more goals in extra time.

Amad Diallo’s goal in the 122nd minute, the result of a lethal counterattack, sent Manchester United to the semifinals, where they will play Coventry, and eliminated Liverpool from the competition.

It should come as no surprise that, in his final season as manager of Anfield, Klopp was upset about his team’s elimination from the competition and loss of another trip to Wembley. But in his post-match interview, the German manager let his temper get the better of him. He vented his annoyance to a reporter from Viaplay Sports before leaving the room.

The 56-year-old asked one question and took issue. The reporter grilled the Liverpool manager about his team’s unusually low level of intensity. In response, Klopp brought up their injuries as well as how many games they had played.

This was brought up by the reporter, which infuriated Jurgen even more. Before abruptly ending the interview and leaving, the manager accused the interviewer of “not being in the best state.” Watch the clip below to witness this incident.

Liverpool is vying for the Premier League and UEFA Europa League championships. They have already won the Carabao Cup. Salah and company have advanced to the European quarterfinals and are currently tied for first place in the league with Arsenal.

Still, the Merseyside giants were disappointed with the outcome on Sunday. It is a blow that Liverpool cannot win four titles this big as a result of the defeat. Conversely, Manchester United, who advanced to the FA Cup final but lost to Man City, will be looking to return to Wembley after winning the Carabao Cup the previous year.
