There is a possibility that President Donald Trump will return to Tuscaloosa in order to attend an Alabama football game. Earlier this week, on Thursday, the University of Alabama issued a statement to AL.com in preparation for his upcoming visit.

The statement from the University of Alabama read, “We have been notified that the 45th President of the United States, Donald Trump, plans to attend the Alabama-Georgia football game on September 28 after receiving an invitation from a private citizen.” The University of Arizona Police Department (UAPD) will collaborate closely with the United States Secret Service and other law enforcement partners to ensure the safety of our campus, which is and will continue to be our top concern. Walk-through metal detectors will be present, and the clear bag requirement will be strictly enforced, just as it is at every other football game that the University of Arizona plays. It is strongly recommended that fans attend early in order to speed up the process of going through the security screening. This is because additional safety measures will be implemented in conjunction with local and federal regulations. The University will continue to place a strong emphasis on ensuring that all games are played in a manner that is both safe and enjoyable for the student-athletes, fans of both teams, and visitors to the campus.

On Saturday, September 28, Trump is scheduled to attend the game between the Crimson Tide and Georgia that will take place at Bryant-Denny Stadium. This information comes from his campaign. At 6:30 p.m. Central Time, ABC will broadcast a game between No. 4 Alabama (3-0) and No. 1/2 Georgia (3-0).

It is expected that this will be Trump’s second visit to Bryant-Denny Stadium, where he has already watched two games featuring the Crimson Tide.

In 2019, he also traveled to LSU for the game, which Alabama ended up losing to the Tigers, who were headed by Joe Burrow, by a score of 46-41. Later on in that season, LSU claimed victory in the national championship game. Early on in the game, Trump was seen sitting in a premium box and his presence was displayed on the television board.

With Trump’s attendance, Alabama has a record of 1-1 in games. In addition, he made a visit to Atlanta for the national championship game that was played during the 2017 season. Using the play that is commonly referred to as second-and-26, Alabama was able to win the game by a score of 26-23. As the national anthem was being played, Trump stood on the field, but he left the field before halftime.

Donald Trump is the nominee for president of the Republican Party, and he is competing against Kamala Harris, who is the nominee of the Democratic Party for Vice President.
