Training Day Review – 20.02

In a match from the 22nd round of the First League, CSKA continues to get ready for their away matchup against Botev (Pd) on Saturday. The players were in great spirits despite the sub-zero temperatures during today’s training session at the club’s headquarters in Pancharevo.

After warming up with running drills and sprints, the participants divided into two groups and engaged in a game of squares. As usual, the last section covered the tactical preparation for the next game.

With his left hand’s injured finger still in a splint, goalie Fyodor Lapouhov has begun using his feet to manipulate the ball. While Gustavo Busato and Matthias Faeton are recuperating from injuries, Liam Cooper and Zümür Butucchi are still training alone.

Aleksandar Tomas will deliver his customary pre-title bout briefing tomorrow at 11:00 a.m. The news conference will be held in the Rodina Hall at the Vasil Levski National Stadium. CSKA’s final practice before the match against Botev will take place in Pancharevo early in the afternoon.
