There is a response from Cristiano Ronaldo to Ramsus Hojlund’s imitation of his celebration.
In response to Rasmus Hojlund’s imitation of Cristiano Ronaldo’s celebration during Denmark’s 1-0 victory over Portugal on Thursday, Ronaldo has provided his own response. When the two nations competed against one another in the Nations League, the striker for Manchester United scored the game-winning goal in the 78th minute. This was the decision that determined the outcome of the match.
After having a difficult season in front of goal for United, it is evident that finding the back of the net for his country meant a great deal to Hojlund. As a way to celebrate, he imitated the classic celebration that Ronaldo made famous. The striker was accused of “mocking” the Al-Nassr player while he was forced to watch another player do the same thing. The Portuguese superstar was compelled to observe. The celebration was actually done out of respect for Ronaldo, who was a former player for Manchester United, according to Hojlund, who stated that he considered Ronaldo to be his “idol.” In a news conference, the individual, who is now forty years old, has now provided his own response to the event.
When it comes to Hojlund’s celebration, Ronaldo has no issues with it.
He is aware that there was no intention to treat Cristiano Ronaldo with disrespect.
It was only inevitable that the Al-Nassr player would be questioned about the event himself after Hojlund was accused of making fun of Ronaldo and the United player handled the situation. Ronaldo made the following statement during a press conference that took place prior to Portugal’s replay against Denmark on Sunday:
When it comes to my celebration, Højlund is not a problem at all. It is not out of disrespect, as far as I am aware. My understanding is that there are individuals that celebrate in the same way that I do, and not just in him but in every sport. I really hope that he will be the one to witness my celebration the following day!
