The Georgia Bulldogs are looking to expand their winning streak against the Auburn Tigers.

This coming Saturday, the Georgia Bulldogs will take on one of their most venerable adversaries in an effort to continue their current winning streak.

During the period that Kirby Smart has been the head coach of Georgia football, the program has enjoyed a great deal of success, as seen by the fact that the Dawgs have won games against almost all of their competitors. It is noteworthy that the Auburn Tigers are included on this list because the Bulldogs have a record of 8-1 against the team since Smart was hired in 2016. This Saturday, the Dawgs will play host to the Tigers in Athens, and they will be looking to improve their record in the process.

With a victory, the Bulldogs will extend their winning streak against Auburn to eight consecutive games, making it the longest winning streak in the historic rivalry between the two schools in more than a century. Between the years 1923 and 1931, when the game was still played at a neutral location in Columbus, Georgia, Georgia racked up an incredible nine straight victories with each passing second.
