Swansea University introduces onsite short-term accommodation for staff, students and visitors

As part of the campus provision that Swansea University offers, the university is now providing faculty, students, and visiting colleagues with the opportunity to stay on campus for shorter periods of time.

Not only does this offering improve the experience that guests have while visiting the University, but it also has the potential to provide a more affordable alternative to those who provide accommodations in the city center.


In addition to being offered on a “per week” basis, the accommodations that are being provided are available during the academic year as well as during the vacation and break periods.All students who are renewing their enrollment
Interns are: Students who are participating in work-study programs or internship responsibilities

Participants in Summer School: Students who are enrolled in summer school sessions this summer
Researchers are academics and researchers who are engaged in fieldwork and projects that are of a shorter duration.


Professors who are going to be in town for a short period of time are known as visiting professors.
Staff members who are relocating and will require housing once they have found themselves a permanent residence
According to the staff, individuals who book a couple of nights at a hotel each week have the option of selecting the Bay Campus, where they can maintain the same room and stay for as many nights per week as they desire.
There is a choice between a smaller premium ensuite room with a double bed and a larger premium ensuite room with a small double bed offered at a cost of £140 and £155 per week, respectively.
