In preparation for Feyenoord’s Champions League match against Inter Milan this week, midfielder Hakan Calhanoglu has resumed full training. The match is scheduled to take place.

Gazzetta dello Sport, a daily based in Milan, published a print issue of their publication today, and FCInterNews reported this information. After taking a knock against Napoli, they report that the Turk has returned to the team.

In the match against Napoli that took place on Saturday, Hakan Calhanoglu was one of the Inter Milan players who was forced to leave the pitch.

The former AC Milan midfielder, who was 31 years old at the time, had begun the match. In preparation for Feyenoord’s match against Inter Milan, Hakan Calhanoglu has returned to full training. Calhanoglu had attempted to play through the discomfort that he was experiencing following the collision with McTominay.

It was during the first half that the injury occurred. During the top-of-the-table Serie A match, Calhanoglu not only played out the first half but also started the second half of the match.

On the other hand, Calhanoglu was injured in a collision with Scott McTominay, a midfielder for Partenopei, and sustained a blow to the thigh of the latter. There was a significant impact between the knee of the Scot and the thigh of the Inter player. With that being said, the Turkish international player was unable to recover from the injury.

Consequently, Hakan Calhanoglu was relieved of his duties as a substitute a few minutes into the second half of the match.

When Calhanoglu attempted to return to full training with the rest of the team yesterday, he was unable to do so. In order to recover from the knock he had suffered the day before, he worked on his own during his recovery.

On the other hand, according to the Gazzetta, Calhanoglu just resumed his customary routine of full-time training.

As a result, the publication believes that the 31-year-old player should be allowed to participate in the opening leg of the Champions League round of sixteen match against Feyenoord on Wednesday.
