Ex-players from Manchester United and Manchester City were involved in a major altercation that started after Fenerbahce defeated Trabzonspor 3-2 at Papara Park in Turkey on Sunday night.

During a violent pitch invasion following the match, former QPR star Bright Osayi-Samuel punched a fan, and an ex-Chelsea player, Michy Batshuayi, attempted to kick another fan who had run onto the field.

A lone Trabzonspor supporter entered the field to jeer at the Fenerbahce players as they were celebrating their victory in the middle of the pitch. The masked supporter was tackled by security, but it didn’t stop Osayi-Samuel from fighting.

After pursuing the intruder and landing a punch, the former Championship player climbed on top of the man who was holding him back. Osayi-Samuel had succeeded in separating himself from his associates.

More spectators poured onto the field until it was overflowing with trespassers as stewards pursued the first intruder. There were skirmishes happening everywhere.

A staff member motioned to Batshuayi to get off the field. The Belgian striker attempted to stop a fan who was making his way to the dugouts as he was doing so, according to the Mirror.

Before security stopped the fan, the 30-year-old only managed a glancing blow with an acrobatic kick. After five years at Old Trafford, Brazilian midfielder Fred scored twice for the visiting team before Batshuayi’s late winner.

Osayi-Samuel, 26, began his football career with Blackpool and transferred to Fenerbahce from QPR in 2021. He has participated in 126 Turkish team games.

A year later, Batshuayi joined Fenerbahce, where he has been contributing goals for the big boys of the Super Liga. The forward has 40 goals in 67 games overall, including 20 goals in 39 Super Liga games.

The international player from Belgium posted a stern message on X following the game. Instead of responding, Batshuayi simply posted a ton of angry emojis on the social media platform.

Fenerbahce’s victory keeps them two points behind the top team, Galatasaray, and 30 points ahead of Trabzonspor in third place.

When things began, Edin Dzeko was also a member of the Fenerbache team. Dusan Tadic, a former winger for Southampton and Ajax, was also participating. Nicolas Pepe, the second-most expensive player in Arsenal history, was playing for Trabzonspor.
