There is no doubt that the first player will be leaving Manchester United next summer. A report says that Christian Eriksen will be leaving Old Trafford for personal reasons.

Eriksen moved to Manchester United for free in the summer of 2022. The Dane has shown how valuable he is at Brentford over the past six months since his heart attack recovery.

Eriksen played in 44 games in his first season at Old Trafford, but he fell in the rankings last year when Kobbie Mainoo became more popular in the middle of the season.

“As a person, I value living in a place where my family is established while also seeking opportunities for personal growth and enjoyment. This has always been my goal.”

When asked about his long-term chances since his contract ends next summer, Eriksen stressed that he was determined to do his best.

With only one year left, Eriksen said, “my focus will be on this year, putting in my best effort and watching what happens.”
