Preview of Indigenous All Stars vs. Fremantle Dockers

After a ten-year break, the AFL’s Indigenous All Stars will play a preseason exhibition match against the Fremantle Dockers. In a game with a lot of points, I’m betting on them to step up and win.

Five of the last seven games have been won by the All Stars.
Since the start of the 2019 season, 71% of all AFL games have ended with a score of 1–39.
Last season, Bobby Hill scored 30 goals in 23 games. He went on to score more than once in nine of the seventeen games in which he scored.
Last season, Jason Horne-Francis, the top-ranked player on the Indigenous side, came in at number fourteen in the Brownlow voting.

Head to Head

In this scenario, this is the first time these two teams have met. The All Stars team has a 6-7 record versus other teams since its founding in 1973, but they have won five of the last seven games.
