like a fly on the wall in that room! In a Grand Slam-worthy matchup this week at the Cincinnati Open, world No. 1 Iga Swiatek took on Andre Agassi and Steffi Graf.

The Pole shared the image on her X, the old Twitter account, on Thursday with the description, “Only two heroes and an unknown girl in the center.”

The trio’s impressive trophy collection begins with their 35 Grand Slam singles victories. Swiatek, on the other hand, hopes to win in Ohio and equal the accomplishment of only one member of the power couple.

Agassi was the Cincinnati singles and doubles champion in all except one of Graf’s finest years. There was no women’s event. (The 1974–1987 and 1989–2004 tournaments caused interruptions in the WTA schedule.) Agassi did, however, attend this year’s tournament, which is celebrating its 125th anniversary. The competition reiterated its intention to stay in the Midwest last year.Nevertheless, Swiatek views his encounter with the 22-time Grand Slam singles champion as a fulfilling fantasy. She mentioned the German-born Graf as one of three former players she would love to have dinner with earlier this year. (The other two were Serena Williams and Maria Sharapova.)

At Wimbledon, Swiatek remarked of Graf, “It’s hard for me to compare our styles,” because Graf had retired two full years before the Polish great was born. It’s clear that we play tennis at different times. Considering her backhand, slice, and volley skills and my incapacity to play them, it can be a bit difficult to find the same things. Therefore, attitude is more crucial.

Swiatek made her best Graf impression the day after the photo was taken, defeating No. 15 seed Marta Kostyuk 6-2, 6-2 to go to the tournament’s quarterfinals for the second year in a row.
