Iconic British actor is unrecognisable in childhood snap with Helen Shapiro at one of his first acting gigs – but can YOU guess who it is?

After creating a reputation for himself on a prominent soap opera, he is now considered to be one of the most recognizable actors in the United Kingdom.

Beginning in his boyhood, he has always had a strong interest in acting, and on Monday, he posted a throwback photo from 1981, when he was performing in a production of Oliver at the Noel Coward Theatre. At the time, pop sensation Helen Shapiro was playing Sarah.

However, despite the fact that he may have begun his career on the West End, many people would recognize him for his work in the East End once he established himself as a prominent figure in the world of television.

Following his rise to prominence in the world of soap operas, he was honored with a Lifetime Achievement Award from The British Soap Awards. He went on to become one of the most well-known figures in the industry.

Iris Bray, a resident of Wellington, was a typical and healthy young lady up until the time when she was diagnosed with cancer in September of 1961. She was admitted to the hospital in Birmingham, where she remained until Christmas, and shortly after that, she underwent surgery.When Helen, a singing sensation who was only 15 years old at the time, appeared in her show in Shrewsbury in March 1962, she was unable to attend the concert because she was not in good enough health to do so. This was a source of disappointment for her.

Mary Bray, Helen’s mother, intervened and approached Norrie Paramour, Helen’s recording manager, to inquire about the possibility of providing her with five minutes of her time.
