The highly rated French defender Leny Yoro appears to be returning to the pitch earlier than planned, which has Manchester United supporters thrilled.

During the preseason tour in the United States, Yoro unfortunately had a foot ailment that might have kept him out of the game for up to three months. On the other hand, it seems like his recuperation is progressing nicely based on his most recent social media post.

During Manchester United’s preseason game against Arsenal in the United States, Yoro suffered an injury that abruptly ruined his hopes of being ready for the Premier League season opener.

The 18-year-old, who cost £54 million when he was first acquired from Lille, underwent a successful operation three weeks ago, and he is currently focussing on his recuperation.

Yoro’s recent behaviour on social media has increased rumours that he would make a comeback before the club’s initial goal of the Christmas season.

Yoro shared an enigmatic yet inspirational comment on social media. He only added the emoji “timer” to a photo of himself leaving a friendly match against the Rangers in July.

The question on fans’ minds is whether this minor sign means he is healing faster than anticipated or if it is simply a reflection of his determination to stay positive and focused on returning.

Yoro’s absence has been felt by Manchester United’s defenders, particularly in their most recent 2-1 loss to Brighton, where Joao Pedro’s late strike exposed defensive lapses.

To fill in for Yoro, manager Erik Ten Hag has added Matthijs de Ligt from Bayern Munich along with Harry Maguire and Jonny Evans.

Despite this, Yoro’s potential and versatility make him a valuable asset, and his return might provide much-needed stability at the back.
