When it comes to Collingwood, a pair of Magpies have committed to staying with the club for a lengthy period of time.

Both Harvey Harrison and Harry DeMattia have extended their contracts by two years, effectively ensuring that they will continue to work in the black and white until at least the end of the year 2027.

Harrison, who was born and raised in South Australia, began his career in the Australian Football League (AFL) in Round 12 of 2023 after being selected by Collingwood with Pick 52 in the National Draft in 2021.
Harrison has made an impact across Collingwood’s front line throughout his 16 games at the Australian Football League level. He has scored 14 goals, including a career-high three majors against Melbourne in Round 13 of the previous season.

Following his selection with the 25th overall pick in the 2023 National Draft, DeMattia is already in the midst of his second year with the Club. According to Justin Leppitsch, the General Manager of List and Talent Strategy, the Club is overjoyed to have the two individuals extend their contract.

According to Leppitsch, “It is absolutely astounding that Harry and Harvey have decided to extend their commitment to Collingwood.”

Both of them are young people with a lot of potential who will play a significant role in our future. They have both demonstrated a high level of devotion and determination to continue learning and enhancing their football skills ever since they joined the club.

We are excited to see what they are capable of accomplishing in the years to come in the black and white.

The 19-year-old has a wealth of expertise in leadership gained from his junior career. He has served as co-captain of the Vic Country Under-18 squad and as captain of the Dandenong Stingrays team in the Coates Talent League.
