Gary Neville has strongly criticized the Glazers for their failure to hire competent individuals at Manchester United, and has also accused them of neglecting the historic Old Trafford stadium.

The club’s American proprietors face frequent censure, since they have presided over a progressive deterioration in the past ten years. After its acquisition in 2005, Sir Alex Ferguson’s success protected them from scrutiny by fans and the media. However, after his retirement, their weaknesses have become apparent.

The Glazers are predominantly non-present proprietors who permitted Ed Woodward to oversee the club until his recent resignation. He was one of several individuals hired despite their lack of experience. Sir Jim Ratcliffe is currently impressing fans with his astute hires, but Neville maintains that this is simply typical behavior.

Furthermore, he is astonished by the lack of necessary enhancements at Old Trafford, considering the club’s financial resources and the fact that they have allowed their local rivals, Manchester City, to surpass them in terms of infrastructure.
