Former Manchester United icon Gary Neville expressed his profound disappointment upon learning of Carlos Tevez’s departure from the Red Devils to join Manchester City.

Carlos Tevez joined Old Trafford in 2007 on a loan agreement from West Ham. He played at Manchester United for two seasons under the management of previous boss Sir Alex Ferguson.

Tevez, a 40-year-old Argentine, established his presence at United by scoring 34 goals and providing 14 assists in 99 matches for the Premier League team.

Tevez played a crucial role in United’s offensive strategy and formed a strong trio with club icons Cristiano Ronaldo and Wayne Rooney.

Throughout his tenure at Old Trafford, the ex-Manchester United player successfully secured two Premier League championships, a Champions League trophy, and a League Cup before departing in 2009.

Nevertheless, Tevez shocked the global audience by declining the chance to permanently join United and instead transferred to Manchester City, their rivals from across the city.
