Galatasaray Fans Anticipate Osimhen s Impact After Loan Confirmation

Victor Osimhen has officially joined Galatasaray SK on a loan from Napoli.

The Turkish team said in a statement on Wednesday that an agreement had been reached with Osimhen to have him play at Rams Park in 2024–2025.

The striker “will be paid a net seasonal salary of 6,000,000 euros” for the transfer, Galatasaray continued.

Osimhen travelled to Turkey on Monday as a result of a deal reached between Napoli and the Turkish team.

The agreement states that Galatasaray will cover the Super Eagles player’s entire salary while he is on loan.

After the season, they are not required to purchase the striker, though.

The loan agreement ends the summer transfer controversy that resulted in Osimhen being cut by Napoli from its roster for the next campaign.

The deals to sign the striker fell through, despite the early interest from Chelsea and Al Ahli of Saudi Arabia.

Osimhen was looking forward to hearing the Galatasaray supporters yell his name when he scored a goal for the team during his first press conference in Turkey.
