Some of the Premier League games that will be played throughout the United Kingdom have been predicted by Alan Shearer, the former captain of Newcastle United.

This weekend is Match Day 2 of the new season.

Shearer discussed the intriguing games that will take place on Saturday and Sunday with BetFair.

The early kickoff on Saturday is between Brighton and Manchester United, and the final match of the day is between Aston Villa and Arsenal at Villa Park.

Champions Manchester City welcomes Ipswich in between.

Liverpool is at home against Brentford on Sunday, while Chelsea is away at Wolves.

Brighton vs. Manchester United – Shearer Manchester United will not be easy to visit a side that triumphed by three goals away from home the previous weekend. Though it’s difficult to predict, I believe there will be a score draw.

“I’ll stick my neck out and say that Aston Villa wins at home against Arsenal. I think Aston Villa can win too. It wouldn’t surprise me if there was a scoreless tie.

Man City versus Ipswich Town: In their match against Arsenal, Wolves performed ok; they were outclassed in the first half but regained some momentum in the latter half, when Raya kept them from scoring several times. My prediction is for the Wolves to win.

Brentford vs. Liverpool: Last week, Brentford had a strong start against Crystal Palace; nevertheless, Liverpool’s performance against Ipswich in the second half was outstanding. Now, we have Arne Slot’s first home game. All I want is a victory at home at Anfield.
