Status Quo’s instruments, amplifiers, and stage gear from their most recent tour—which band leader Francis Rossi warned would be their final one—will be demolished.

The sale is anticipated by auctioneers and will take place at Gardiner Speakers, keyboards, pianos, and amplifiers are up for auction.

A key component of Status Quo’s appearance and sound was their on-stage backline.

Famous amplifier manufacturer Marshall made a white covering for the amplifiers especially for the band.

Numerous objects from Rossi’s home studio, which he used to record both his solo albums and Status Quo records, are also up for sale.

“This equipment can still deliver at the top of its range even though it has lived a life,” Rossi said.

All of these things have been used directly by the band, have travelled great distances with us, and were most recently utilised during the gig in Taunton, UK, on August 23.

“This is authentic. It’s time to give these things to our supporters now that Quo’s phase is finished.

On December 3, it was possible for Houlgate auctioneers in Corsham, Wiltshire, to sell for more than £45,000.
