Tech defeated a top-five team for the first time since 2009, while the Hurricanes, who had been unbeaten, finished in the top five. According to the AP College Football rankings, Miami is currently ranked No. 12.Following the Rebels’ 28-10 victory over the Georgia Bulldogs, Ole Miss supporters in Oxford, Mississippi, stormed the field and tore down the goalposts in celebration. As they get ready for a crucial game against No. 4 Tennessee this Saturday—a battle that might decide both teams’ playoff prospects—the loss moved Georgia out of the AP top 10 and into the No. 11 spot.
