Manchester United needs to improve in the areas that Cristiano Ronaldo identifies.
The Red Devils’ Premier League finish from the previous season was their lowest ever.
Furthermore, Forward’s lack of “respect” for Erik ten Hag was evident.

In an attack on manager Erik ten Hag’s philosophy, Cristiano Ronaldo declared that Manchester United needed to rebuild “everything” if they were to win the Premier League once more.

Ronaldo, who served as United’s manager for two successful terms, has fixed the team’s issues after they experienced their worst-ever Premier League season in 2023–24, finishing ninth in the standings. In his first six years with the Red Devils, he won an FA Cup, two League Cups, the Champions League, and three Premier League titles.

His most recent endeavour, however, was less successful; midway through his second season, he and Ten Hag voluntarily terminated his contract.

The renowned United player, nevertheless, believes he has discovered the reason behind the team’s downfall and has presented a reconstruction strategy to get United back to the top of Europe.

On the most recent episode of Rio Ferdinand Presents, he told his former colleague Rio Ferdinand, “I think Manchester United needs to rebuild everything.” “The coach says they can’t compete to win the league and the Champions League. Manchester United coach, you cannot say that you will not compete to win the Champions League or the league.

You have to mentally remind yourself, “Listen, it’s possible we don’t have that capability, but I can’t say that.” We are going to try it. You have to try it out. This team needs time to heal, even though they are still among the best in the world. They have to adjust.

They are conscious of that. There’s no other way. For this reason, they act out and start changing everything again—the president, the facilities, and the way the club is run. the owners of the club.

“I believe that things will improve in the coming years. I don’t think they merely depend on talent. It goes farther than that. It’s not just the players; it’s the club, the club, everything as one unified unit. They have to begin the process anew. If they can’t, they can’t compete. That will not be possible.

“They can achieve amazing feats, like winning the Carabao Cup, but I believe it would be difficult for them to win the Premier League, Champions League, or Europa League.” And I hope I’m not mistaken, but it will be difficult.

Ronaldo also discussed his connection with Ten Hag, saying that even though he doesn’t like for the Dutchman, he still adores Manchester United.

He went on, “I don’t have respect for him because he doesn’t show respect for me.” “We sometimes have no control over certain areas of our lives, but those times are now behind us, even though I’m not happy with how everything turned out.

In all honesty, though, what I really want for Manchester is what I want for myself. They should assemble the greatest team they can; I genuinely love their club. I’m not the kind of guy who lets the past go.
