As a result of Mohamed Salah’s intense desire to continue playing for Liverpool beyond the current season, it has been reported in France that he has not even discussed the possibility of a free transfer with any other club over the summer.

As of the end of the current season, Salah’s current contract will expire, and there has been no movement made in negotiations over an extension. This is despite the fact that the Egyptian player has made numerous attempts to put public pressure on Liverpool to raise their offer to him.

Furthermore, he recently hinted at his imminent departure from the club by reflecting on his time spent at Anfield in the past tense. He had earlier confessed that he felt “more out than in” due to the lack of movement in discussions.

It is common knowledge that Al Hilal are fans of Salah; in fact, manager Jorge Jesus has even made it public that he would like to become involved with the 32-year-old player. In addition, recent rumours have suggested that Inter and Bayern Munich could be interested in acquiring Salah.

It has been reported by Telefoot, a French website, that Salah is still fully focused on securing a contract with Liverpool. In fact, he is not even discussing a free transfer with other clubs, which is a testament to the intensity of his desire to continue playing at Anfield.

Arne Slot, the manager of Liverpool, has stated that the club’s intention to keep Mohamed Salah is “clear.” However, discussions over an extension have been difficult to conduct. There are rumours that the Reds are hesitant to make a large financial commitment to Salah as he approaches his 33rd birthday.

The fans have been dissatisfied with this position, given they have witnessed what could be considered the best football of Salah’s career this year. The Egypt international is a front-runner for the Ballon d’Or and is on course to shatter the record for the most assists in a single season in the Premier League. He has scored 30 goals and assisted 22 others in just 39 games during the season.
