Reports indicate that Viktor Gyokeres is Arsenal’s primary transfer target for the upcoming summer.

Since his transfer from Coventry City to Sporting Lisbon last summer, the Swedish player has impressively scored 33 goals in 37 games. If the Portuguese team decides to sell him after a year, they may potentially make a profit of about four times the amount they paid for him, which was approximately £25 million.

Upon Lisbon’s arrival, they included a release clause of £87 million, which Arsenal would be need to pay in order to secure the player. Gyokeres firmly stated his intention to remain at his current club, despite widespread speculation leading up to the January transfer window.
