Antony may have played his final game for Manchester United, having played only one minute of football this season.

On matchday two of the 2024-25 Premier League season, the 24-year-old came on as a 90th-minute substitute for Amad Diallo in a 2-1 loss to Brighton & Hove Albion.

Ajax is also keeping an eye on his status, and teams in Spain, France, and Saudi Arabia are all interested in hiring him.

Antony is Manchester United’s fifth highest-paid player, having signed a five-year deal worth £200,000 per week when he joined the club from Ajax for £85.5 million two years ago.

He only scored one league goal and assisted another in 29 appearances last season, dropping behind Marcus Rashford, Alejandro Garnacho, and Diallo in the pecking order.

Antony has not played international football since last year and will need to play frequently at club level if he is to add to his 16 caps for Brazil anytime soon, and leaving Manchester United may be his only option if he is serious about restoring his career.

If he joins the Turkish Super Lig club, the winger will team up with fellow Brazilian and former Manchester United great Fred, and he may face the Red Devils in the Europa League group stage on October 24.
