“Am I now a parent with no children?” Brooke Shields is inconsolable in her Hamptons property, which is valued at $6 million, as her children are away at college.

The gorgeous Hamptons house of “Mother of the Bride” star Brooke Shields has officially become an empty nest. This is because her younger daughter, Grier, has left to attend college, joining her older sister, Rowan, at school. This has left the 59-year-old actress devasted.

It was around the end of August that Shields, who became famous at the age of 12 for her role in the controversial film “Pretty Baby” from 1978, delivered both of her daughters to Wake Forest University. Shortly after that, she shared her feelings of sorrow at their departure in an open and honest video that she uploaded to TikTok and taped on the porch of her home in Southampton, New York.

While filming a series of more lighthearted clips at the home that she and her husband Chris Henchy purchased in 2013 for little over $4 million, Shields seemed to have found the silver lining in her empty-nester status in the weeks that have passed since the event.

Shields once featured the picture-perfect hideaway for Better Homes and Gardens in 2015, when she opened up about the design process that inspired her renovations. There are certainly places that are more difficult to experience loneliness than the picture-perfect escape.

In her statement, she mentioned that she aimed to develop a “classic” look that had a “contemporary edge.” Specifically, she accomplished this by establishing a neutral background by means of bleached floors and subdued walls, while simultaneously incorporating splashes of color through the utilization of vivid furniture items and wacky artwork.

A paneled entry hall, a mudroom with a washer and dryer, a living room with a fireplace, a formal dining room, a den, and a chef’s kitchen with a family room and fireplace are some of the features of the 4,500-square-foot refuge that was constructed in 1996.

A marble bathroom with a steam shower and a heated floor is included in the primary suite, which also has a gas fireplace attached to it. A separate entrance, a media room, and a walk-in cedar closet are all located on the lowest floor of the house.

Vegetable gardens, a swimming pool, and a pool house that features a covered porch, a bathroom, and a kitchenette are all included in the exterior groomed grounds that span a half acre. A carport and an outdoor shower are included in the property’s accommodations.

According to estimates provided by Realtor.com, the home is currently worth at approximately $6 million. It provides a good location within the city that is in close proximity to the beaches of the ocean.

During the process of making a video for her company, Shields, who also owns a townhouse in Greenwich Village, recently provided a rare view inside her home in Southampton.
