When Ronnie O’Sullivan guaranteed that I will win several World Snooker Championships, I didn’t have the slightest bit of doubt in my mind.

In his second attempt at winning the championship, Wilson prevailed against Jak Jones in the championship match from the previous year.

He had been defeated by Ronnie O’Sullivan in the Crucible in the year 2020, and this victory came four years later.

Despite this, the Rocket continued to express his support for Wilson after that meeting, and he had previously backed Wilson on multiple occasions to win the world championship.

The 33-year-old athlete was also confident that he will compete at the highest level of the sport during his entire career. When Wilson was asked recently if he ever had any doubts about his ability to become a world champion, he responded to the question by saying, “No, I called it from the very beginning.” I’ve always been certain that I can do what I set out to do.

“You know, I believe that if you bring it into existence, you realise that you are giving yourself the opportunity to do it.

“If you cower away from thinking that you’re not going to do it and your mind can’t tell the difference between what’s true from what’s false.” On the other hand, it is evident that you need to go and support it. Last year, I was overjoyed to be able to accomplish that.

Following Wilson’s victory in May of last year, O’Sullivan continued to be impressed with his fellow world champion.

“Therefore, if you tell yourself that you are incapable of doing anything, it will never come to pass. To put it another way, all you have to do is bring it into reality, if you will. In November, the seven-time winner disclosed that he had given Wilson a text message of encouragement, in which he encouraged Wilson to “go and get as many majors as you can.”

It would appear that he has taken that piece of advice to heart, as he has just won four ranking titles this season, bringing his total for his career to ten.

Wilson won the Players Championship on Sunday, defeating Judd Trump by a score of 10-9 to take home the prize money of £150,000. This victory was Wilson’s most recent victory.

Now, the world number two is in a strong position to compete in the Tour Championship the following week.

His opponent in the quarterfinals of the final event before the Crucible will be either Mark Williams or Ding Junhui. He will compete against any of them.

Next, all eyes will be on Sheffield, which is the location of the World Championship, which is set to take place from April 19 to May 5.
