Arsenal would possess a significant edge if they were to be paired with Bayern Munich in the quarter-finals of the Champions League.

If Bayern Munich is paired with Arsenal in the Champions League quarter-finals, supporters of Bayern Munich will not be permitted to enter the Emirates Stadium.

UEFA has imposed a ban on Bayern supporters from attending the away leg of their last-eight tie due to incidents of fans throwing pyrotechnics onto the pitch during their 3-1 victory against Lazio earlier this month.

Bayern Munich was also penalized with a fine of €40,000 due to the actions of their supporters who ignited pyrotechnics following their 2-1 victory against FC Copenhagen in October.

In December, the German club received a suspended one-match ban on buying away tickets. The ban was triggered by the subsequent event at Lazio.

Bayern has announced that it would not challenge UEFA’s decision, as stated in a formal statement.

“We must acknowledge and embrace this penalty.” “Not only were pyrotechnics ignited, but they were also intentionally launched onto the field, directly putting bystanders at risk,” stated Bayern CEO Jan-Christian Dreesen.

“This act clearly and directly violated the terms of probation, making any attempt to appeal it unfortunately pointless.”
