Ilian Iliev and Stanislav Shopov are part of the Bulgarian men’s team, which will fight for a place in the upper division of the League of Nations
The Reds boasted that 13 members of CSKA’s first and second teams were called up for their national teams in the forthcoming FIFA international match window (March 17–26).
The Bulgarian “A” national team has selected Ilian Iliev and Stanislav Shopov for their UEFA Nations League play-off matches against the Republic of Ireland. The national squad will travel to Bulgaria for the return leg three days after hosting the opponent in Plovdiv on March 20.
With the Bulgaria U21 team, Petko Panayotov and Georgi Chorbadzhiyski will represent their country’s colours in friendly matches against Greece as the host (March 25) and Cyprus as a guest (March 20).
For the forthcoming training camp, four army talents—Vasil Kaymakanov, Julian Gilov, Bozhidar Petrov, and Dimitar Nikolov—were called up to the national youth team under 19.
James Eto’o of CSKA was called up for the first time to play for Cameroon, one of the best teams in Africa. In World Cup qualifying, his country will host Libya on March 25 and travel to Eswatini on March 19.
While Lumbard Delova is on Kosovo’s squad for the play-offs against Iceland (March 20 and 23) for promotion to League B of the UEFA Nations League, Fyodor Lapouhov will bolster Belarus for the friendlies away to Tajikistan (March 20) and Azerbaijan (March 25).
Ioannis Pitas is a member of Cyprus’ squad for the opening of the Europe zone World Cup qualifying tournament, where his nation will host San Marino on March 21 and travel to Bosnia and Herzegovina on March 24.
Matias Faeton will go for Guadeloupe’s CONCACAF Gold Cup qualifying matches against Nicaragua on March 22 and 26.
