After yet another summer of significant squad investments, Aston Villa will be primed for success in the Premier League this year.

The Villa Park team is now aiming for Champions League football after Unai Emery guided them to fourth place in the Premier League the previous season.

While it’s true that Villa lost two of its best players when Douglas Luiz and Moussa Diaby moved other teams, they have also been rather active in the transfer market.

Ross Barkley, Amadou Onana, Ian Maatsen, Jaden Philogene, Samuel Iling-Junior, Lewis Dobbin, and Enzo Barrenechea are the new Villans.

Now that he has made his season predictions, Gary Lineker has backed one of Villa’s players to have yet another stellar year.

Aston Villa is expected to finish “just outside the top four” by Gary Lineker, Micah Richards, and Alan Shearer.
Speaking on The Rest is Football, Lineker predicted Ollie Watkins to be a star once more and said the Villans would be a force to be reckoned with.

Nevertheless, Lineker, Alan Shearer, and Micah Richards predict that Villa will place just outside the top four.

Shearer stated, “They’ll be challenging for European football again, but I don’t see them making top four.”

“Yeah, I agree,” Richards continued. just outside of the top four.

Have performed admirably thus far, but they will be exhausted while playing Champions League football.

“I’m just going to miss out on the top four, Europe.”

At that point, Lineker affirmed, “Yeah, I’m going to agree with you on that one.”

“I believe Douglas Luiz will be missed. I believe he is a really talented player, and in the summer he joined Juventus. But they’ll be powerful once more.

Ollie Watkins, who played a key role in the England team, scored the game-winning goal. I hope he has another successful season.

At Villa Park, optimism is high.
Villa supporters will be hoping that all three analysts are mistaken and that their team does improve from the previous campaign, equal or surpassing their fourth-place result.

The Villans’ hopes will depend on Watkins. In all competitions last season, the £120,000-per-week striker (Salarysport) netted 27 goals and provided 13 assists for his team.

It will be difficult for Villa to finish in the top four this season since there is so much talent in the high echelons of the Premier League standings, including Manchester United, Chelsea, and Tottenham.

Nonetheless, Emery has demonstrated that he is among the greatest managers in the English Premier League, so optimism at B6 is undoubtedly strong.
