The main midfield target for Liverpool this transfer window, Martin Zubimendi, turned down a move to Anfield, dealing a serious blow to the Reds.

Thankfully, there is a player who apparently turned down significant bids in order to sign a long-term deal with the Merseysiders.

News: Liverpool is set to finally sign a midfield player for £29.9 million a year before the deadline.            Saudi Arabian clubs are reportedly making significant offers for Mamardashvili, according to today’s edition of Superdeporte (press image below).

To entice the Georgian international this summer, the Middle Eastern teams are even prepared to give Valencia over 40 million euros.

Mamardashvili, however, has decided to sign a long-term contract with Liverpool after turning down the Saudi Pro League’s high offers.

To complete his transfer to the Reds, the 23-year-old custodian is even prepared to play on loan for Bournemouth for the 2024–25 season.

Mamardashvili was informed by Liverpool that he will replace Alisson as the starting goalie at Anfield. Alisson is anticipated to depart for “multi-million-dollar Saudi football.”
