Antony agent destroys ‘superficial’ Ruben Amorim as Man Utd bridges are well and truly burned

An astonishing attack on Ruben Amorim has been launched by the agency of Manchester United winger Antony, who is now on loan from Manchester United. The agent has gone on a diatribe against the Portuguese coach, which will undoubtedly ensure that the Brazilian star has no way of returning to Old Trafford.

In the summer of 2023, the winger made a mega-money move from Ajax to the north-west giants. Former manager Erik ten Hag was successful in persuading the Red Devils board to pay a fee that would eventually surpass a somewhat startling £86 million (€104.1 million, $108 million) if add-ons were taken into consideration. On the other hand, the player who was the second most expensive signing in the history of Manchester United was rarely able to demonstrate why he was valued at such a high salary, and he was subjected to consistent criticism from both fans and the media.

It should not come as a surprise that United moved the winger on just as soon as Amorim had established himself at Old Trafford. Antony went on to join Real Betis on loan for the remainder of the season, and the LaLiga club will be responsible for paying him seventy percent of his weekly wages of two hundred thousand pounds. During his time with the Red Devils, he was responsible for only seventeen goals (12 scored, five assists).

Despite the fact that he had a difficult time at Old Trafford, it is evident that Antony has benefited greatly from his move to Spain.

In addition, when United manager Amorim was recently asked to explain why he is performing so well in Andalusia, he recently made the following statement: “Antony is so much better now in Spain.” The reason for this is due to a number of different reasons, but I can assure you that it is physically.

The winger’s agent, on the other hand, is not pleased with Amorim and has now used an interview with Marca to retaliate against the Portuguese club.

This is what agent Junior Pedroso had to say about the situation: “We respect the opinion of coach Ruben Amorim, but we completely disagree with his analysis.”

Antony’s lack of success at Manchester United can be attributed exclusively to a physical ailment, which is a very superficial viewpoint that is out of touch with reality. In order to demonstrate his greatest football, Antony did not have sufficient prominence or the confidence that was required.

Although Amorim led Manchester United for a total of 15 games, Antony only participated in nine of those games, accumulating a total of 252 minutes of playing time. In comparison, this merely accounts for 18.6 percent of the entire number of minutes that are feasible (1,350 minutes). If a player does not have a minimum sequence that displays his worth, how can you possibly evaluate him?
