When the snooker veteran snapped his cue in January, O’Sullivan made his final appearance in the Champions League.

“He should become involved.

“I have heard he has a good cue he is happy with, [but] I am only hearing whispers.”

“He needs to be playing some tournaments to get some match practice under his belt,” White continued, implying that the seven-time world champion must make a comeback in order to regain his form. Jimmy White claims to have heard speculations that Ronnie O’Sullivan would play snooker again.

The Rocket’s withdrawal from a number of events in recent weeks has raised rumours that he may be retiring.
