His new club confirmed the news of his one-year contract on Friday afternoon. The 21-year-old has been training at the Dockers over the summer in the hopes of realizing his dream of joining a senior level list.

Originating from Adelaide’s Central Districts, Dudley has played in 38 SANFL games since making his debut in 2022. After ruck Odin Jones was placed on the team’s long-term injury list following spinal surgery in December for a fractured vertebra, Justin Longmuir’s list opened up for Dudley this summer.He strikes the scoreboard individually and produced high-scoring assists in the SANFL.

He seized the opportunity to train and has behaved himself admirably.


“We are always looking to add talent in our front half, but he has worked really hard and obviously still has work to do.”


This summer, Dudley will join Quinton Narkle, a former Port Adelaide and Geelong x-factor, in joining the team as an SSP player.

In one week, on February 21, the SSP period will come to an end.

Prior to their first home-and-away game against Geelong at GMHBA Stadium on March 15, Fremantle’s 2025 preseason campaign begins tomorrow night against the Indigenous All Stars at Optus Stadium.

“At Central Districts, we have kept a watch on Dudley, a very talented junior football player who had a few injuries and things didn’t go his way.” David Walls, Fremantle’s head of player personnel, stated in a club statement.
