Wout van Aert, the star rider for Team Visma | Lease a Bike, is scheduled to attend the World Cup Benidorm later today. He will be competing in the event. During a conversation with Wielerflits that took place before to the event, Van Aert discussed his thoughts on the course as well as the significance of the race.

“It is a quick lap, and it is something that you should consider doing again. The possibility that Benidorm will play host to the cyclocross world championships was another thing that piqued Van Aert’s interest. As he reflected on the possibilities, he made the following observation: “It is something very positive that a Spanish organisation wants to organise a World Championships.” For the foreseeable future, we will continue to be in close proximity to Belgium. As a result, it would be a welcome change. Having said that, I feel obligated to point out that the course could provide a little bit more for a World Championships.
