Beginning in 1970 and continuing until 1982, he was a competitor in the Motocross World Championships. Everts is well-known for his accomplishment of winning the FIM Motocross World Championship four times. He was honoured with the title of FIM Legend in 2013.

Harry Everts is a Belgian motocross racer who competed professionally in the past. He was born on February 6, 1952. Between the years 1970 and 1982, he was a participant in the Motocross World Championships. Because he has won the FIM Motocross World Championship four times, Everts is a well-known athlete. His accomplishments in the world of motorcycling earned him the title of FIM Legend in 2013.
Everts started the year 1977 with a string of impressive performances for the Bultaco team, one of which was a victory in the opening moto of the Swiss Grand Prix. Following the completion of four races, he was in second place, behind Gennady Moiseyev, who would go on to win the World Championship. However, he experienced a setback and finished the season in fourth place. Everts had another great start to the 1978 season, which left him in second place behind Moiseyev, who would go on to become the World Champion. However, Everts missed three rounds, which brought him down to sixth place in the season final classification.
