Lewis Hamilton given ‘you’re f**ked’ warning as Ferrari urged to rip up contract

Lewis Hamilton is “f**ked” and lacks complete faith in himself, therefore Eddie Jordan has asked Ferrari to back out of the contract.

As Hamilton gets ready to begin a new chapter in his career with Ferrari in 2025, this weekend’s Abu Dhabi Grand Prix will be his last race as a driver for Mercedes, the team he has won six of his seven world championships with since joining in 2013. The Mercedes farewell tour, however, has reached all-time lows.

In Formula One 2024, Hamilton has been extremely frustrated with his one-lap performance. His Mercedes teammate George Russell has a commanding 18-5 lead in that head-to-head, and Russell is half a second ahead of Hamilton in Qatar. Hamilton said after Sprint qualifying, “I’m just slow, same every weekend.” The car felt really well, there were no problems, and there wasn’t much else to say.

And when the journalist asked Hamilton, “We know this isn’t a ‘you’ thing,” Hamilton smiled and said, “Who knows? I’m obviously not as quick as I once was.

Former Formula One team manager Eddie Jordan expressed his deep worry over those remarks, stating that a key component of his motivational philosophy is to encourage others to “believe.” In light of Hamilton’s predicament, he also exhorts Ferrari to stop losing.

Hamilton’s problems grew worse on race day in Qatar when he received separate penalties for speeding in the pit lane and a jump start. He also sustained a puncture and was overheard requesting via team radio that Mercedes retire the car.

“You’re f**ked if you don’t believe it completely. Are you aware of that? Jordan stated on the podcast Formula For Success.

Because 99.9% of people believe that there is a tiny, insignificant thing lurking inside of them that makes them think, “Oh, I don’t really have that confidence.” I’m not really capable of it.

“And from what I heard from Lewis right now, I believe the words were, ‘I’m not quick enough anymore.

To be honest, if I were Ferrari, I would tell you to shut up and figure out how to get out. That’s all.

Given that Abu Dhabi is probably going to be the Mexican driver’s last race with Red Bull, Jordan would even go so far as to compare Hamilton’s predicament to that of Sergio Perez.

Jordan went on to say of Hamilton, “He’s not performing, and I don’t care whether the car is good, bad, or indifferent.” “His teammate is totally controlling him, just like Max is doing to Perez.”

Jordan is thus telling Hamilton, the most successful driver in Formula One history, that it is time for him to leave and concentrate on his expanding list of interests and ventures outside of the F1 sphere.

Jordan went on, “I think it’s also a little message to you, Lewis, if you’re out there, always remember in life that you have your music, your fashion, and all sorts of other things.”

The majority of people believe that you are the best driver of all time. Please keep in mind what I’m about to say.

“Remember to constantly consider the best way out. And now is the moment to remove the financial option. Proceed.

The truth is that you are a fantastic ambassador, Lewis. We genuinely love you, but don’t let the fact that you’re spending time at Ferrari make us think less of you. That’s all I have to say.

However, team manager Fred Vasseur, who oversaw ART when Hamilton was winning championships on the junior circuit, seems unconcerned with what he heard from the seven-time World Champion in Qatar, suggesting that Ferrari is not interested in making Hamilton that offer.

Hamilton’s rise from P10 on the grid to runner-up at the checkered flag in Las Vegas served as his proof.

When asked if he is concerned about Hamilton’s remarks in Qatar by the media, notably PlanetF1.com, Vasseur responded, “Not at all.”
