Albert Gudmundsson, the forward from Genoa who is valued at £35 million, has revealed his early fondness for Manchester United. This comes as reports suggest that the Iceland international may be transferring to the Premier League.
It is indeed remarkable that Manchester United has not been associated with a potential transfer for any of Serie A’s emerging talents.
Similar to many other players who have joined Old Trafford during Erik ten Hag’s tenure, Albert Gudmundsson gained recognition in the Eredivisie, where he faced the Red Devils manager when playing for AZ Alkmaar.
Thus far, the stories indicating Gudmundsson’s potential move to England have been centered around Aston Villa and Tottenham Hotspur, rather than Manchester United.
