Angel Gomes believes that the player Manchester United is pursuing has the potential to become a superstar valued at £78 million.

Angel Gomes firmly believes that his Lille teammate, Lenny Yoro, has a promising future ahead of him. It is widely expected that Yoro would emulate Gomes’ path and join Manchester United in the Premier League.

The England under-21 international has firsthand experience of the challenges faced by young players who are burdened with the expectations associated with being called a ‘wonderkid’.


Angel Gomes, at the age of 16, made his first appearance for Manchester United in 2016 under the management of Jose Mourinho. He became the youngest player to debut for the club since the legendary Duncan Edwards.
