There is a possibility that Manchester United will have the opportunity to recruit Joao Felix again in the summer, as the player, who previously had a loan spell in the Premier League, is currently facing an uncertain future at Barcelona.

As always, the issue with the current (and soon to be former) champions of La Liga is a financial one.

Barcelona desire to retain Joao Felix, the Portuguese national who is currently on loan at the Camp Nou from Spanish adversaries Atletico Madrid. However, they lack the financial means to do so. However, it is not possible to do so permanently.

According to Marca, Atletico Madrid has set a minimum value of £60 million for Joao Felix, who has been consistently linked with Manchester United during Erik ten Hag’s tenure. Barcelona, a team that is constantly facing crises, is now unable to fulfill these requirements, regardless of the economic measures they take. Marca reports that Barcelona, who are struggling financially, are hoping that Atletico will agree to extend Felix’s loan for a further 12 months.
