Manchester United, a prominent team in the Premier League, is contemplating the potential acquisition of Johan Bakayoko, a winger from PSV Eindhoven. However, two former Dutch internationals remain unconvinced of his value, stating that he is not worth a price tag of 40 or 50 million.

It is accurate to state that the success rate of players transferred from the Eredivisie to England is inconsistent, to put it mildly.

In recent times, there have been few notable instances of players like Cody Gakpo, Noni Madueke, Memphis Depay, and Antony, who is currently on the bench for Manchester United and cost £82 million, living up to their high price-tags. However, there have been some successful stories, such as Luis Suarez and Ruud van Nistelrooy.

According to Sport1, United is said to be monitoring Johan Bakayoko. In this context, it is uncertain which group the graceful Belgian would align with. Will there be another triumph in the style of Van Nistelrooy? Or the reincarnation of Antony?

Rafael Van der Vaart, a former playmaker for Tottenham, Ajax, and Real Madrid, is currently favoring his previous club.
