In a groundbreaking move, Manchester City has extended its partnership with Puma, entering into a record-breaking 10-year kit deal valued at approximately £1 billion. This deal, announced on July 15, 2025, is set to run until at least the 2034–35 season, making it the most lucrative kit agreement in Premier League history. Under the terms, City will receive £100 million annually, significantly surpassing their previous £65 million per year deal signed in 2019 .
The new agreement not only strengthens City’s financial position but also underscores their growing commercial influence. It eclipses Manchester United’s £900 million deal with Adidas, signed in 2023, and sets a new benchmark for kit deals in English football . This substantial increase reflects the club’s sustained success on the pitch, including multiple Premier League titles and a historic treble in the 2022–23 season.
City’s Chief Executive Officer, Ferran Soriano, expressed pride in the partnership, stating, “We joined forces with Puma with the ambition to challenge ourselves and go beyond expectations. We have achieved this and more over the last six seasons.” Puma’s Chief Executive Officer, Arthur Hoeld, echoed this sentiment, highlighting the mutual success both on and off the field .
This deal also signifies Puma’s commitment to the City Football Group, as the German sportswear manufacturer continues to supply kits for other CFG clubs, including Melbourne City, Girona, and Mumbai City. The extended partnership is expected to enhance Puma’s global presence and further integrate the brand within the CFG network .
As Manchester City prepares for the upcoming 2025–26 season, this landmark agreement positions the club at the forefront of commercial success in English football, setting a precedent for future kit partnerships.
