In an interview with Rio Ferdinand, Cristiano Ronaldo voiced his doubts about Erik ten Hag, the manager of Manchester United.

The Premier League season gets off to a terrible start for the Red Devils, who have only managed three points after three games.

Four points separates the club from the top four. The Manchester United players are already under duress to win their encounter with Southampton on Saturday.

Ronaldo said on his YouTube channel that he was unhappy with Ten Hag’s present attitude towards Ferdinand and that United needed to build everything.

The Portuguese star does not agree with the 54-year-old’s claim that United cannot contend for the Premier League and Champions League.

“In my opinion, Manchester must rebuild everything, as I previously stated,” he told Ferdinand (via Goal). They can’t compete for the League and Champions League titles, the coach says. As Manchester United’s coach, you cannot say that you will not make an effort to win the League or the Champions League.

In the same interview, Ronaldo suggested to Ten Hag that he speak with Ruud van Nistelrooy, who is well familiar with the team.

The 39-year-old believes that by asking the five-time league title winner for advice, the Dutchman can improve the team’s prospects.

He also said, “It’s possible that Ten Hag will be able to help himself if he pays attention to Ruud.” Since he knows the club well and the club ought to pay attention to the people who were there, I think it may be quite advantageous. Rio, Roy Keane, Paul Scholes, Gary Neville, Sir Alex Ferguson, or anybody you choose. Rebuilding a club is impossible without information.

No, not guys that work in offices. They understand. The people in the dressing room made up 99 percent of the people who understood football. They are able to communicate with the participants. These are the people who understand these issues.

“Since Ruud was a club member, I am sure he will be of assistance.” He is familiar with the company. He knows the people who follow him. In my opinion, if the coach pays attention to him, the team might be somewhat improved.

Ten Hag got along poorly with Ronaldo, despite their short connection. Due to multiple inconsistencies, the attacker eventually left the Red Devils on a free transfer in late 2022.

The club was forced to voluntarily end its association with Piers Morgan after a contentious interview with him. As was to be expected, after a protracted period of silence, Ronaldo has rekindled his feud with the management.

We felt that the interview was unnecessary at this point in time. Ten Hag is aware that the team is presently going through a transitional period, thus a Premier League title push is still far off.

The administration fully supports the Dutchman in spite of a difficult start to the season. He has gained the trust of the supporters after guiding the team to FA Cup victory in May of this year.
